K-12 Community Art Show- Bondurant [VID]

The Ankeny Art Center is pleased to present our annual Kindergarten through 12th Grade art exhibits for 2014! These exhibits feature student artwork from three different local communities and are part of our outreach programming. We love supporting and celebrating the creative talents of our area youth in a professional gallery setting.

Did you know? Students with an education rich in the arts have higher GPAs and standardized test scores, lower drop-out rates, and better attitudes about their community. An education that deeply engages the arts tends to foster those young imaginations and facilitates a child's success in school. There is no doubt that critical thinking, communications and innovation skills are essential to a productive 21st-century work force. Here's our K-12 Exhibition Schedule:

Come and see hundreds of outstanding student art works beautifully displayed at the Ankeny Art Center during the show! We strongly believe that unique art experiences will enrich the lives of the public and teach children how to be better members of the community.
