Election 2012 Ankeny Results: Koester Retains Seat in Iowa House District 38 Race
The Republican incumbent from Ankeny won the three-person race with just over 52 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results.
Kevin Koester has retained his seat in a three-person race for Iowa House District 37.
Koester, a Republican, received 8,331 votes – or just over 52 percent – according to unoffocial results. Democratic challenger John Phoenix received 6,858 votes, or approximately 43 percent.
Independent candidate Brett Nelson received 686 votes.
