Lanes of Major Thoroughfare Close Today
Portions of US Highway 69 will be reduced to one lane for about a week.
The removal of a railroad crossing will reduce South Ankeny Boulevard to one lane for about a week, according to the City of Ankeny.
The lane closures were expected to begin today, Tuesday, and last for about a week. The road will be reduced to one lane in each direction according to the advisory.
