May 19
George B. Hartney, 37, Ankeny, was charged with second-degree theft of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop that occurred in the 600 block of East First Street.

May 21
Matthew G. English, 31, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant following an incident that occurred in the 2500 block of Northwest 12th Street.

May 22
Sara A. Christeson, 33, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant following a traffic stop that occurred in the 7200 block of Northwest Second Street, Crocker Township.
Craig A. Scott, 43, address unknown, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and improper use of registration following a traffic stop that occurred in the 900 block of Southwest Oralabor Road.
Police responded to the 200 block of Northeast Sherman Drive at approximately 3:22 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle theft.
May 23
Keith A. Batson, 48, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant and also charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop that occurred in the 600 block of Southwest Ordnance Road.
A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with third-degree criminal mischief following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Southwest Ankeny Road.
Police responded to the 6700 block of Southeast Bellagio Drive at approximately 6:04 a.m. for a report of third-degree burglary to a vehicle.
May 24
Tia N. Tomlinson, 32, Norfolk, Neb., was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop that occurred near the 400 block of Southwest Ordnance Road.
May 26
Ibrahim Saric, 28, Des Moines, was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Third and Cherry streets.
Police responded to the 2100 block of South Ankeny Boulevard at approximately 7:16 a.m. for a report of an assault.
