New Ankeny Hair Salon Has Princess Parties for Girls, Traditional Services for All

Ankeny's newest salon offers a little something for everyone.

Styles 109, located at 109 N.W. Ninth St., opened on Feb. 18, but will hold its grand opening this Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Styles 109 is a family hair salon and offers services including haircuts, highlights, waxing, perms and special occasion styles.

The salon also offers Princess Parties for up to six girls, which can include hair, make-up and nails.

The salon is owned by Danielle Brosam, who has been a stylist in Ankeny for six years.

Styles 109 has four stylists, and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 515-964-3771. Styles 109 can also be found on Facebook.
