Thank you to everyone who made the 7th Annual On With Life Golf Outing and Silent Auction on August 1, 2013 a huge success! With over $56,000 raised this year, and $250,000 raised in the last five years, On With Life has been able to provide equipment for persons served at On With Life. Proceeds from the event go directly back to those with a brain injury and equipment to assist them in their rehabilitation. The purchases of new equipment and this event are only possible because of philanthropy. During their presentation at Otter Creek Golf Course, Honorary Co-Chairs Lizz and Barb Cassler discussed the importance of faith, hope and perseverance in difficult times. Lizz spoke of her experience at On With Life and how that lead her into the rest of her recovery. She is now attending Des Moines Area Community College, works at Hy-Vee and hopes to become a personal trainer, live on her own and maybe even “get hitched” someday.
