OWIs, Assault Charges Top Ankeny Police Blotter for Jan. 24

Dec. 29, 2012

Andrew Gier, 28, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 800 block of Northeast Fifth Street.

Dec. 30, 2012

Justin W. Brady, 26, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Northwest College Avenue.

Dec. 31, 2012

John E. Gonzalez, 22, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of Northeast Seventh and Grant streets.

Hoia Vuong, 24, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 300 block of East First Street.

Theresa R. Jones, 30, Ankeny, was charged with assault (domestic abuse with intent or a weapon) following an incident that occurred in the 900 block of Southwest Springfield Drive.

Melissa S. Tash, 26, New Britain, CT, was charged with assault (domestic abuse with injury) following an incident that occurred in the 6700 block of Southeast Bellagio Drive.

Matthew R. Korock, 23, Des Moines, was arrested on two outstanding warrants following an incident that occurred West First Street and Southwest Stonegate Drive.

Jan. 4

Holly A. Russell, 33, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following an incident that occurred at the Ankeny Police Department, 411 S.W. Ordnance Rd.

Jan. 5

Brian R. Egland, 30, Saylor Township, was charged with violating a no-contact order following an incident that occurred in the 3000 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Dale J. Grieder, 42, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle following a traffic incident that occurred 1900 block of Northwest School Street.

Marissa C. Ruffolo, 19, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.

Sara J. Ross, 33, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of West First and Northwest Scott streets.

Dustin M. Zuck, 30, Newton, was charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic incident that occurred in the 1600 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Jan. 9

Wendee D. Wilson, 44, Ankeny, was charged with driving with a revoked license following an incident that occurred in the 1000 block of Southeast National Drive.
