"What we're offering is unique because it combines group instruction with individual instruction," Fleener said. "It makes you accountable to a team, so it matters what you do in your days off."

The class will be held at Ankeny Parks and Recreation, located at 210 N. Ankeny Blvd. The six-week session will be held from 5:30-6:15 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cost of the class is $125.

The class will be taught by Fleener and Nick Jarosh. The pair are two of only four certified P90X trainers in Iowa.

"The closest class like this to us is in Madison (Wis.)," Fleener said.

P90X consists of challenging workouts that use resistance and body-weight training, cardio, plyometrics, ab work, martial arts and yoga. Fleener said the program is in no way "gimmicky."

"It's motivating, encouraging and fun," he said. "We're honest and passionate about why we're doing this."

For additional questions about the program, contact Fleener at 515-371-9633 or Jarosh at 515-371-5881.
