President Obama Fails Fact Check On The Debt Ceiling
The president continues to make blatantly false claims. Do you care?
President Obama has been doing everything he can to politicize the debt ceiling debate. For example, in a speech this week the president said:
“You have never seen in the history of the United States the debt ceiling or the threat of not raising the debt being used to extort a president or a governing party and trying to force issues that have nothing to do with the budget and nothing to do with the debt.”
The only problem? It's not true, as the Washington Post points out. They cite example after example of where it's been done before. So the president made a claim which is easily proven false. There are many examples like this where the president makes claims which are also easily proven false. Is this what you'd expect from the most transparent president ever? Is this what you'd expect from the president who promised "change"? Are you tired of all the politicizing of everything, instead of just being honest and dealing with the facts?
