Ryan Pezzetti Will Lead Jaguar Football Alongside Father
Ryan confirmed to the Des Moines Register Monday that he will be the co-head coach of the Ankeny Centennial football team, joining his father, Jerry Pezzetti.

Ryan Pezzetti, son of longtime Ankeny football coach Jerry Pezzetti, will be joining his father at the helm of Ankeny Centennial's program.
Ryan confirmed the news to the Des Moines Register on Monday.
“It’s a unique opportunity,” Ryan Pezzetti told the newspaper. “It’s something you’ve always wanted as a kid, and it’s pretty exciting.”
Jerry Pezzetti coached the Ankeny High School football team for 43 years, ending his time with the Hawks by leading the team to a Class 4A state championship.
Jerry announced in January that he would be making the transition to Centennial.
Brad Zelenovich, former offensive coordinator for rival school Southeast Polk, will take over head coaching duties for the Hawks for the 2013 season.
