South Ankeny Boulevard Lane Closures To Begin On April 6

The City of Ankeny will resume work on the High Trestle Trail Extension from SW Ordnance Road to SE Magazine Road project starting the week of April 6, weather permitting. Northbound and southbound traffic along South Ankeny Boulevard, in the vicinity of Southwest Ordnance Road, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through spring and summer. For the safety of construction workers, drivers are asked to please slow down through active construction zones.

The High Trestle Trail Extension from SW Ordnance Road to SE Magazine Road project includes the construction of a trail along the old railroad grade with a pedestrian tunnel under South Ankeny Boulevard. View project renderings.
