South Ankeny Boulevard Traffic Shift To Begin August 13
This new traffic pattern is expected to last through the middle of next week, weather permitting.

Traffic on South Ankeny Boulevard with be shifted to one lane in each direction in the outside lanes, beginning Aug. 13, 2020, in the vicinity of SW Ordnance Road. This is necessary for the continued construction of the High Trestle Trail Extension from SW Ordnance Road to SE Magazine Road project. This new traffic pattern is expected to last through the middle of next week, weather permitting. For the safety of the construction workers, please slow down through active construction zones.

The High Trestle Trail Extension from SW Ordnance Road to SE Magazine Road project includes the construction of a trail along the old railroad grade with a pedestrian tunnel under South Ankeny Boulevard. The road should be opened up again in the vicinity of SW Ordnance Road by the middle of next week and the project should be fully completed by the end of September.
