String of Vehicle Burglaries Top Ankeny Police Blotter for April 3

March 19

Danny K. Aller, 36, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1200 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Natasha Gudenko, 20, Jefferson Township, was charged with second-degree theft of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license following an incident that occurred in the 2300 block of Southwest Oralabor Road.

Jason R. Schomer, 32, Crocker Township, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2000 block of Southwest State Street.

Police responded to the 300 block of Harvest Park Drive at approximately 3:32 a.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Windover Drive at approximately 9:42 a.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

Police responded to the 300 block of Parkland Court at approximately 12:08 p.m. and again at 1:08 p.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue at approximately 12:19 p.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

March 20

Trisha L. Garvis, 46, Ankeny, was charged with simple assault following an incident that occurred in the 2100 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue. (1138 - 5:27 p.m.)

Jonathan O. Hanson, 20, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Green Park Circle and Southeast Shurfine Drive.
