Suspect Arrested in Ankeny Kohl's Robbery
Ankeny police arrested a Des Moines woman for her alleged connection to the Nov. 12 incident.

The Ankeny Police Department has arrested a suspect linked to a department store robbery that occurred last month.
According to a media release issued by the Ankeny Police Department, police arrested 21-year-old Meggen A. Richards of Des Moines in connection with a robbery that occured at the Ankeny Kohl's on Nov. 12. During the incident, Richards allegedly shoplifted from the store and struck a store loss prevention officer twice with her vehicle while trying to flee the scene.
Richards was identified by several people following a press release of her photograph and vehicle was made public.

Richards is being held in Polk County Jail on charges of second-degree robbery and reckless driving. Her bond is set at $10,131.
