Taste, Experience Ankeny at Second Annual Chamber Event on Thursday

In case you want to know a little bit more about what the Ankeny business community has to offer, you don't want to miss the second annual Taste Ankeny, Experience Ankeny event this Thursday.

The event, organized by the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held Nov. 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the FFA Enrichment Center. The event will feature 55 local food and product vendors and is open to the public.

"This is a great, family friendly event," said Hilary Dunn, events coordinator with the Ankeny Chamber. "It's good for people who are new to the community and want to try a multitude of different restaurants in one place to find their new favorite."

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. There also will be prize giveaways.

Dunn said the event also is a great way for local people and businesses to network with one another.

"You never know who you could meet," Dunn said.
