Theft, Domestic Abuse, Drugs Top This Week's Ankeny Police Blotter

A summary of incident reports with individual charges provided by the Ankeny Police Department.

Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Jan. 5

Jacob J. Adams, 20, Ankeny, was charged with possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol under the legal age following a traffic stop at West First Street and Southwest Maple Street.

Jan. 10

Thomas H. Robbins, 33, Des Moines, was charged with fourth-degree theft following an incident at 1101 S.E. Oralabor Rd.

Jan. 11

Giro G. Celentano, 57, Ankeny, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at 109 N.W. College Ave.

Jan. 12

Jeffrey V. Lewis, 30, Ankeny, was charged with lascivious acts with a child.

Jan. 13

Lawrence Lind, 33, York, Neb., is being investigated for sexual abuse following an incident at 910 S.E. Peterson Dr.

Lisa A. Swinson, 31, Des Moines, was charged with interfering with official acts following an incident at 770 S.E. Oralabor Road. She also was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by Polk County.

Police responded to 598 Frisk Drive at about 3:56 p.m. for a report of a burglary and criminal mischief.

Jan. 14

Angel C.M. Corbin, 21, Ankeny, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident at 1002 S.E. National Drive.

Calen T. Foster, 32, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and carrying a weapon following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Jasmine J. Williams, 18, Des Moines, was charged with fourth-degree theft following an incident at 1002 S.E. National Drive.

Jan. 15

Jerry S. Pratt, 44, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at 1024 E. First St. He also was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant.

Jan. 16

Police responded to 909 N.E. Grant St. at about 2:28 p.m. for a report of an attempted burglary.

Jan. 18

Michelle L. Skinner, 41, Collins, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident at 1002 S.E. National Drive.

An unidentified juvenile was charged with fourth-degree theft following an incident at 1955 S.E. Delaware Ave.

Jan. 19

Jonathan C. Swenson, 38, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident at 328 N.W. Waterview Court.

Mathew J. Woods, 21, Des Moines, was charged with third-degree theft following an incident at 1010 S.E. National Drive.

Police responded to 3104 S.E. 20th St. at about 9:13 a.m. for a report of third-degree burglary of a building.
