Thefts, Burglaries Top Ankeny Police Blotter for June 19

June 4

Police responded to the 600 block of Northeast Wanda Drive at approximately 10:07 a.m. for a report of third-degree burglary of a vehicle.

June 9

Police responded to the 1200 block of Northeast 29^th Street at approximately 5:17 p.m. for a report of theft.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue at approximately 6:35 p.m. for a report of a theft.

June 10

Timothy J. Hedden, 33, Ankeny, was charged with assault (domestic abuse with intent), public intoxication and obstruction of emergency communications following an incident that occurred in the 5300 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

June 12

Guadalupe Rodriguez, 31, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred following a traffic stop that occurred in the 800 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.
