Tuesday:Â A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 74. West southwest wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Mostly cloudy skies overnight and a low near 53.
Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. West wind 6 to 11 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Mostly cloudy skies overnight and a low near 53.
Thursday and Friday, expect high temps in the upper 60s to lower 70s, accompanied by partly cloudy skies.Â

Clouds will linger and another round of storms is possible Monday afternoon and evening. Key times will be after 3 PM and before 9 PM in Eastern Iowa. These storms look to be less intense with the severe potential not as high as last night. Temperatures will reach 80 degrees.Â
By this weekend, temperatures will remain steady but we could see sporadic showers and thunderstorms starting Friday and extending into Sunday.
