Traffic Alert: Construction of a Turn Lane to Affect Busy Ankeny Road

Ankeny motorists, be advised.

On Monday, the city of Ankeny will be constructing a right turn lane for westbound vehicles on Northwest Prairie Ridge Drive. Because of the project, one northbound lane of Northwest State Street will be closed.

Traffic control will also be set up on Northwest Prairie Ridge Drive, but traffic will not be restricted.

Construction is expected to last about a week, depending on weather.
