Auditions for Twelve Angry Jurors, written by Sherman L. Sergel, will be held at Ankeny Community Theatre on Saturday, April 11 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon or Monday, April 13 at 6:30 - 8:30 PM. The theater is located at 1932 SW 3rd Street in Ankeny. Production dates are June 5 - 21.
Originally set in 1956 and titled Twelve Angry Men, the once all-white, all-male play has been updated to take place with a cast of men and women of any race or ethnicity. Auditions are open for actors between the ages of 20 and 70. Character descriptions may be found on our website at www.ankenycommunitytheatre.com. Auditions will consist of reading from the script and other activities. No preparation is required. Scripts will not be available for checkout ahead of time. Please fill out the online audition form before the auditions and bring a copy with you.
