Two New Coaches Named to Lead Ankeny High School Teams
In preparation for next year's split to two high schools, new wrestling and girls basketball coaches have been named for Ankeny High School.

A former Iowa State girls basketball player is unofficially set to take over as head coach of the Ankeny girls basketball team.
Kelsey Bolte, 24, will replace Scott DeJong, according to the Des Moines Register. DeJong will move to Ankeny Centennial next year to be the head coach of its girls basketball team.
Bolte, an Ida Grove native, comes to Ankeny from Drake, the Register reported. She was an honorable mention Associated Press all-American at Iowa State in 2011, and she helped the Cyclones to four NCAA Tournament appearances before finishing her career with 1,639 points, sixth on the school's all-time list, the article said.
