Ankeny Skate Park Closed Through Monday Due to Vandalism
Police are asking for the public's help should residents have any knowledge regarding the incident.
The Ankeny Skate Park is temporarily closed due to vandalism.
The vandalism at the park, located at 1400 N.W. Prairie Ridge Dr., occurred the evening of Aug. 2, according to a release sent by the city of Ankeny. A small fire was lit and caused significant damage, the release said.
The park is expected to re-open some time Monday, Aug. 6.

The is currently investigating the case and video survallence is assisting with identifying suspects.
