Weekend Planner: Ankeny Unplugged Features Live Music by Freedy Johnston and More
This weekend marks your last chance to catch live music held in Ankeny's Wagner Park, courtesy of the Ankeny Jaycees.

Head to the Wagner Park band shell on June 22 from 5-9 p.m. for the final week of Ankeny Unplugged. A full line-up of bands will be featured including headliner Freedy Johnston.
Other bands include Savannah Smith, Dylan Boyle and Annalibera.
Ankeny Unplugged is held each Saturday in June. Tickets are $3 for adults. Children 12 and under get in free.
Live performances are accompanied by an art and craft market as well as food and beverage vendors.Â
New this year will be the official AU after-party held at Jethro's BBQ Lakehouse, located at 1425 S.W. Vintage Pkwy., following each concert. Bring your Olde Main AU beer mug for great deals on draws.Â
