Where to Find Sweet Corn in Ankeny (MAP)
It's a summer dinnertime staple, so find out where you can find a roadside stand to get your Iowa sweet corn fix in Ankeny.
In addition to Grimes Sweet Corn, local grower Ron Deardorff of Adel Sweet Corn sells his crop wholesale to area Hy-Vee and Dahl's grocery stores, according to the Des Moines Register.
Sweet corn can also be purchased at many local farmer's markets, including the Downtown Farmer's Market in Des Moines, which is held from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Saturday.
