Which New Iowa State Fair Food Came Away as This Year's Favorite?
Was it the bacon-wrapped riblet on a stick? Or was it the maple bacon funnel cake? Nope, but we still have the answer...

You went. You ate. You decided.
A host of new foods were introduced for the 2013 Iowa State Fair, but it was the shrimp corn dog that came away as the favorite of fairgoers.
The shrimp corn dog, which has three fresh shrimp on a stick and is dipped in corndog batter and deep fried, won out over the bacon-wrapped riblet and the strawberry smoothie on a stick, according to WHO Channel 13.
Three finalists were chosen before the fair, and fairgoers got the chance to vote during the first four days.
Haven't had a chance to try the shrimp corn dog yet? You can still get one at the Po Boy Stand on Rock Island Avenue.
