Bobbi Bentz Wins Ankeny City Council Special Election
With all precincts reporting, Bentz clinched the most votes by a considerable margin.

After weeks of campaigning, Bobbi Bentz will be the next member of the Ankeny City Council.
Bentz garnered the highest number of votes in today's special election with 782, according to unofficial results from the Polk County Auditor's Office. Bentz topped opponent Mona Bond, who received 501 votes.
A total of 1,283 votes were cast in today's election. Six were write-in votes.

Bentz and Bond both moved on to today's election after . Bentz received the most amount of votes in the primary with 454, while Bond trailed her with 338 votes.
