• One person dead after three-vehicle crash near Bondurant (desmoinesregister.com subscription) — A serious three-vehicle crash northwest of Bondurant Wednesday evening left one person dead and closed the intersection of NE 56th Street and NE 94th Avenue for several hours. All four people involved were taken to local hospitals, and authorities are still notifying family before releasing the victim’s name. Residents may have noticed the closure and emergency response in the area.
