• Utah Men's Basketball Adds Trey Campbell Monday (midutahradio.com) — A Cedar Falls native is making waves on the national basketball stage: former UNI guard Trey Campbell has joined the Utah men's team while seeking a fifth year of eligibility. Campbell, who starred for Northern Iowa, brings more than 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 300 assists to his new program.
• Peter Clowney To Succeed Myrna Johnson At Iowa Public Radio. (insideradio.com) — Iowa Public Radio is getting a new CEO, and that matters in Cedar Falls because IPR runs one of its key regional offices here. Veteran public media leader Peter Clowney will take over Sept. 28, guiding the statewide network that serves all 99 counties, including local listeners who rely on IPR for news, classical music, and cultural programming.
