Santa Claus is coming to downtown Cedar Falls! Don’t miss his grand entrance on Friday, November 23rd as he arrives to help us kickoff the Holiday Hoopla seasonal celebration in the downtown district! Shop and dine in downtown Cedar Falls, then join us on Main Street for live musical entertainment at 6:00pm.
The band, WAGG, will be playing for a number of area entertainers from a stage set up near Santa’s Workshop on the corner of 4th & Main Streets. Holiday characters such as elves, Frosty, Rudolph, the Grinch, Cinderella, Alvin and the Chipmunks and many more will be roaming the street spreading holiday cheer! Food venders will also be available.
After Santa arrives, he and Mrs. Claus will lead the “Magical March Down Main Street” to the Hoopla Tree at 1st and Main where he’ll use his magic to light up the tree and then following, a Winter Fireworks Finale over the Cedar River. The Hibbs Memorial Bridge (North Main Bridge) will be open to the crowd, providing a spectacular view of the fireworks.
