The 1st annual "River of Dreams" event gives kids who are battling terminal illnesses a chance to get out on the water for a nice relaxing day.
The event begins at 12:30, more details to come about when to show up to help. It starts at Wshington park, and ends at Waterloo Boathouse in the afternoon.
We are recruiting volunteers to help out, potentially cleaning up the river of some of the trash and debris.
We will provide gloves, water and possibly snacks of some sort for helping us out.
