Shooting 101 Program at Hartman Reserve Nature Center

If you are interested in learning how to shoot, or would like some pointers to improve upon skills you already have Hartman Reserve Nature Center is offering a Shooting 101 program on Sunday, February 24th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  Participants will be using Daisy 499 single shot BB guns to hone their skills and instructed by a Black Hawk County Conservation Board naturalist with over 30 years of safe shooting experience.  The program will be indoors so you do not need to worry about the weather. The cost for this program is $5 per person.

If you have any questions about this, or any other programs at Hartman Reserve Nature Center contact Chris Anderson; Program Coordinator at chris.hrnc@gmail.com or call (319) 277-2187.  You can pre-register on-line at BlackHawkCountyParks.com by clicking on the “Events” hyperlink and selecting the desired program.  Setting up an account on BlackHawkCoutnyParks.com is a free and simple way to be able to sign-up for program, youth camps, cabins, or campsites with County Conservation Boards all around the state of Iowa.
