Bowl For Kids' Sake!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa invites businesses, churches, organizations, families and individuals to lace up their bowling shoes and participate in Bowl For Kids’ Sake, Big Brothers Big Sisters’ largest annual fundraiser. The events will be held on:

Wednesday, March 30th from 5:30PM-7:30PM, Waverly Bowl Inn

Sunday, April 3rd from 12PM-2PM, Waverly Bowl Inn

Wednesday, April 6th from 5:30PM-7:30PM, Waverly Bowl Inn

Wednesday, April 13th from 6PM-8PM, Cadillac Lanes, Waterloo

Thursday, April 14th from 6PM-8PM, Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo

Bowl For Kids’ Sake is a fun and easy way to support the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters. All money raised will stay in our community and will provide youth with one-to-one mentors who will help them achieve success in life.

Bowlers form teams and raise money by soliciting pledges from people they know. Everyone who particpates gets 2 free hours of bowling, food, and the chance to win tons of great prizes donated by our community. Bowlers who raise over $100 will receive an event t-shirt.

Clever team names and friendly competition are also encouraged. Some of the fun team names from last year include “The Bowling Stones” from Veridian; “The Incredibowls”, “The Poundcake Ketchup Throwers”, and “The ‘Loo-natics” from Lincoln Savings Bank; “Unbowlievable” and “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter” from University of Iowa Community Credit Union.
