Blue Zones Daily Challenge: Health and Wellness Blog
Which sounds easier: a lifestyle makeover or a small step today? Consider the Daily Challenge!

Have you met your daily challenge today? According to Blue Zones Project, improving well-being doesn't mean you need a drastic lifestyle makeover all at once. Instead, take small, easy steps toward big rewards for years to come through the Daily Challenge (to open the link, be sure to login first). You'll receive challenges written by subject matter experts that range from encouraging you to "eat 1 energy-boosting dark leafy green today" to "give a stranger a compliment today." They'll even tell you why completing each task is important to your well-being. And we want to help you connect with the people in your life who will hold you accountable, and cheer you on towards better health. These people are your Right Tribe. The Daily Challenge makes it easy to connect your tribe and to share successes and best practices that can help inspire and empower those most important to you. Take it from the longevity stars from the original Blue Zones® areas - we need community to make us happy and keep us well.
I think of the daily challenge as my exercise buddy for well-being. Somehow, receiving an email challenge motivates me to do one more good thing for my health each day (well, most days). I especially love the days when I realize I unknowingly completed the challenge before reading my email. As soon as I finish typing this, I will complete today’s challenge of a hip roll to increase the range of motion in my lower back and strengthen my abdominal muscles. I also like the idea of taking a short break, laying on the floor, and relaxing –I mean stretching :).
