Counterfeit Bills Popping Up

Local law enforcement has been responding to several reports of counterfeit bills being passed.  These bills range from $5 to $100.00.  If you work at a business please familiarize yourself with the security features contained within the bills or purchase a counterfeit pen.  If you spot a counterfeit bill please document what you can about the person passing it as well as a vehicle description if possible. 

Anyone with information about the counterfeit bills or who is making them is asked to contact their local law enforcement or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers at 855-300-TIPS (8477).  Anyone with information leading to an arrest is eligible for a cash reward.
