Free Home Buyer Education Classes Coming to Waterloo-Cedar Falls May 23
The public is invited to attend a free homebuyer education session in the Waterloo tomorrow, Thursday, May 23. Register at IowaFinanceAuthority.gov/Registration.

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA), the Iowa Home Ownership Education Project (IHOEP) and the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of REALTORS® are partnering to bring Waterloo-Cedar Falls area home buyers free educational sessions. The seminar entitled, Free Home Buyer Education Series: Unique Iowa Programs & Information to Get You Started, will be held in Waterloo on Thursday, May 23, and is free to the public.
Program topics include state mortgage and down payment assistance programs, highlighting new mortgage credit certificate programming; information on the benefits of owning a home; and the necessary steps on how to begin the home buying process. IFA staff members and housing counselors will be on hand to answer questions. The seminar is hosted by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of REALTORS® and will be held at the board office, 351 Fletcher Avenue, Waterloo.
The program will be offered at two times: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m. Home buyers may attend either session. Please RSVP at IowaFinanceAuthority.gov/Registration.
