Stay Well During Cold & Flu Season: Health and Wellness Blog

Would you like to know how to keep your immunity strong and healthy all year long?

Shaklee reminds us that as a parent, your first priority is to take care of your family. For business people, we need to focus on business, and children need to focus on school.

But when you're feeling rundown, it's hard to keep up. This winter, don't let seasonal challenges catch you off guard. Keep your immunity strong and healthy all year long. In addition to rest, pure water, healthy eating, a positive environment, you can supplement daily to support your immune system and keep an Echinacea supplement for the times when you feel that first tickle.

This week two of my friends plus my mom have told me about their current or recent round with the cold and flu – and we have many months left in the season. One friend skipped dinner with friends so she did not share her sickness, another cancelled the class she teaches, and my mom had pain the first day of her cruise.

None of that sounds like fun to me. We have enjoyed the blessing of lots of travel to see friends, family, and the sights this year. Between all this fun and the preparation/catch-up that comes with vacation, we do not have time to get sick (or the desire). If a little extra food (whole food supplements) and healthy habits mean I get to enjoy dinner with friends, attend my classes, and feel good on vacation, sign me up :).
