Build Passive/Solar Appliances! Silent auction to benefit non-profit Green Iowa Americorps

Green Iowa Americorps is putting on a build on September 15th, from 9am-12pm. 

We are building passive/solar appliances from almost entirely recycled materials, that can help to increase home comfort and lower utility bills. It is educational and hands-on. There will be some power-tool use, and assembly. 

At the end of the day we will have a silent auction for solar heaters, 2 solar ovens, 2 rain barrels, evaporative coolers, and possibly more!

Event cost is $5 to Hartman, all auction revenue goes directly to fund Green Iowa Americorps to continue providing free weatherizations to homes in the community.
