Cedar Falls East 2nd St. Sidewalk Notice

From the City of Cedar Falls:

May 1, 2020

Beginning Wednesday, May 6th, K. Cunningham Construction will begin working on the sidewalk on the north side of East 2nd Street. To complete this work, the sidewalk will be closed for two (2) to three (3) weeks. This construction will include the removal and replacement of the sidewalk with continued brick pavers from Main Street to the new MU2 building. Below is a map of the planned closure areas.

For safety’s sake, please observe road and sidewalk closure signage and refrain from entering the construction areas. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth in multiple areas.

Downtown business hours are not affected by the Streetscape construction. Please visit communitymainstreet.org to learn more about businesses in the area.
