On Saturday, August 24, the Cedar Falls High School Band will hold their annual free carwash from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at seven sites around Cedar Falls. Confirmed sites include First National Bank (Thunder Ridge area), 1st Street Pizza Hut, Cedar Falls Financial Center (6th & Main), Tuffy Automotive, Family Video, and Southdale Elementary.
The band would like to wash as many cars as possible. Students have raised pledges at a penny per car, so the more cars they wash, the more money they will raise for the band. Donations will also be accepted at each site.
Money raised by this event helps to pay for various CFHS Band program expenses throughout the year. Come out Saturday, August 24, get your car washed, and help the Tiger band.
