Cedar Falls Road Closure Notice - Walnut Street

August 5, 2020

Beginning Tuesday, August 11, 2020, the contractor will begin Stage 2 reconstruction of W 12th Street and Walnut Street by closing Walnut Street from 11th Street to 12th Street and by also closing Walnut Street south of the 12th and Walnut intersection. In order for the contractor to begin pavement removal, a full road closure will be required. The road closure will be in effect for eight (8) to ten (10) weeks, depending on the weather.

For safety’s sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street. It would be advisable to stay behind the sidewalk on the property side during the reconstruction work.
