Cedar Falls W. Street 1 HWY 57 Reconstruction - Temporary Eastbound Detour On July 2
As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.

Beginning at 10am on Thursday, July 2nd, 2020, the City of Cedar Falls will be inspecting the older existing sanitary sewer between Division Street and Catherine Street. In order for the inspection to begin, eastbound Highway 57 will be need to be closed and detoured onto W. 2nd Street. This will be in effect for two (2) hours. For safety’s sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed section of street.
