College Street Closure In Cedar Falls

April 1, 2020

Starting Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 a private contractor will be closing College Street between 18th and 19th Street in Cedar Falls for sanitary sewer and water service-related work. In order for the contractor to begin, a full road closure of College Street will be required. This road closure will be in effect for approximately five days, depending on the weather. A detour will be set up utilizing W. 18th Street, Olive Street, and W. 19th Street. Access will be maintained to residential properties.

For safety’s sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street. It would be advisable to stay behind the sidewalk on the property side during the construction work.
