Film Screening: "The White Rose"

The UNI Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education presents "The White Rose" (1983), directed by Michael Verhoeven, on Tuesday evening, April 2, at 7:00 p.m. in Lang Hall 20 at the University of Northern Iowa.  This film screening is presented in conjunction with the "White Rose" traveling exhibit currently on view (until May 11) at the Grout Museum of History and Science.  This exhibit is the 2013 edition of the annual collaboration between the CHGE and the Grout Museum District to bring a traveling exhibit on the Holocaust, other genocides and human rights issues to our community.
The White Rose was the most important student non-violent resistance movement in Nazi Germany.  The efforts of the White Rose have left an enduring legacy for today's generations of Germans.

This event is free and open to the public.
