Hoopla Cheer Contest

Elves will be concocting special batches of cheer during Holiday Hoopla’s “Hoopla Cheer Contest” Thursday December 13^th in downtown Cedar Falls! Stop by between 6:00 and 9:00pm to try unique drinks that several establishments will be serving up with the hope that they will earn your vote! Participants will “text vote” via cell phone and view “real-time” results on the Holiday Hoopla website at www.CFHolidayHoopla.com, and on the large screen in iTech’s downtown window.

Stop by each of the following establishments to taste the cheer: Berks, Cypress Lounge, Joker’s Comedy Club, Luna Art+Wine, The Pump Haus Pub & Grill, Single Speed Brewery, Soho Sushi Bar & Grill, The Hub, The Landmark, Toad’s Bar & Deli, Tony’s La Pizzeria, and VooDoo Lounge.

Come into Kate's on Main and flaunt what you got in Santa’s Beard contest!  Whether you are part of "no shave November," keeping warm for the winter, or if you're a year ‘round man...let our judges pick the winners of our five categories:  Best Santa Beard, Scruffiest Grinch Beard, Best Design, Longest Goatee, and Amazing Mustache.  Each category winner will then compete for the “BEST of the BEST” Cash Prize! Contest will be held on Thursday, December 13 from 5-6 pm at Kate's on Main, 206 Main Street, Cedar Falls. Please stop by Kate’s On Main to register anytime between now and December 13th.

And, hey all you Panther fans, stop by Santa’s Workshop at 10 pm as we assemble the largest gathering on a main street to dance to the “Interlude” music and light show!

In addition, take the kids to visit Santa at his workshop at the corner of 4^th and Main Streets and then enjoy a free, horse-drawn trolley ride through the downtown. Holiday characters will also be out to greet everyone. The Live Nativity will also be open from 6-8pm located at 6^th and Main Streets by Richardson Funeral Home.  Bundle up and soak in the magic of downtown during Holiday Hoopla in Cedar Falls!
