Cedar Falls Community Main Street invites you “hop” downtown for a great evening out during the 6th Annual Hops on Main event! On Thursday April 11 from 6-8:30pm, patrons are invited to sample finely crafted beers with food pairings at select downtown bars and restaurants. Participating businesses are Cypress Lounge, Joker's, Luna Art+Wine, Pump Haus Pub & Grill, SingleSpeed Brewing, Soho/Stuffed Olive, The HuB The Landmark, Toad's Pub & Grill, Tony's LaPizzeria, and VooDoo Lounge.
Registration and a pre-party will be hosted by Barmuda Catering at Joker’s from 5:30-6:30pm. Wristbands and a commemorative beer pint glass, along with your “Hop Stops” listing, will be given out during registration. Additional participating stops will be open from 6:00-8:30pm. Participants will sample beer at each location with many stops offering both food and beer pairings to enjoy.
The closing reception will take place at The HuB with prize drawings and live music at 9:00pm. One lucky Hops participant will walk away with a grand prize overnight trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a tour of Miller Brewing Company! Must be present to win!
Tickets are $20 per person or you may purchase a “Six Pack” special, six tickets for the price of five. Tickets are available at the Community Main Street office and at the Blackhawk Hotel in downtown Cedar Falls. There are a limited number of tickets available, so interested persons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
