In honor of Cesarean Awareness Month, the International Cesarean Awareness Network of Northeast Iowa (ICAN of Northeast Iowa) is pleased to present guest speaker, Kristina Rutkowski. Rutkowski is the secretary of the International organization and will share her birth story at the local organization's meeting on Tuesday April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Sartori Memorial Hospital. Dinner and on-site child care will be provided in exchange for a freewill offering. The event is free and open to the public.
ICAN of Northeast Iowa is a chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network, a nonprofit organization working to improvematernal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education,providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth AfterCesarean (VBAC).
