Movie Magic: The Santa Clause

Enjoy a free showing of “The Santa Clause” starring Tim Allen on Saturday, December 15 at 10 a.m. in the nostalgic Oster Regent Theatre in downtown Cedar Falls. A gift to the community, this showing is for children and families of all ages.

“The Santa Clause” illustrates the magic of Christmas by sharing the story of Scott Calvin (played by Tim Allen), a man who is magically recruited to fill the role of Santa Claus when he dons the suit of the Santa who fell off his roof on Christmas Eve. As the next year passes, Scott finds himself gaining weight, growing a white beard and helping his son, Charlie, to regain his Christmas spirit as well as his belief in Santa Claus.

Winners of the Holiday Hoopla Coloring Contest will also be announced at the showing; need not be present to win. (All submitted coloring contest entries must be placed in Santa’s red 50613 mailbox located at the corner of 4th and Main by Thursday, December 13.)
