Musical Adventures: How to Compose Music for Children's Outreach Concerts

The University of Northern Iowa School of Music will sponsor guest lecturer Jennifer Stevenson this month. Stevenson will present her lecture titled "Musical Adventures: How to Compose Music for Children's Outreach Concerts" at noon, on Wednesday, March 13, in Russell Hall, Room 121 on the UNI campus.


Composer and clarinetist, Stevenson has been creating and performing musical outreach programs in Los Angeles and across the country for more than 20 years. Presenting to audiences from infants to adults, Stevenson's innovative concerts incorporate humor, interaction, movement and learning by doing. A CD of her musical adventures for children, released through Tessella Music, is available
on iTunes.
