The final round of the University of Northern Iowa College of Business Administration (UNIBusiness) Diversity Case Competition will begin at 4 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, in Curris Business Building Room 109.
The UNIBusiness Diversity Case Competition poses a diversity-related problem to students who then apply the knowledge and skills they have gained during their lives and studies to come up with a solution. After a preliminary round of competition on Jan. 30, the top five teams present to a panel of judges during the final round and are eligible for a total of $5,000 in prizes distributed through the UNI Office of Student Financial Aid. Thanks to sponsors PricewaterhouseCoopers and Veridian Credit Union, the first-place team receives $2,000, the second-place team receives $1,500 and three honorable mentions of $500 are awarded.
