Full Moon 5K a BIG Success!
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities ran through the streets and trails of Charles City to support youth mentoring!

Charles City – Thank you to all who supported youth mentoring in Floyd County at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa’s Annual Full Moon 5K on Friday, May 12th. The event began and ended at Wildwood Park and over 120 came out to support this great event to help raise over $5,000 for youth mentoring in Floyd County.
Top overall finishers in the Women’s Division include Kara Shannon (24:57), Madison Lensing (25:11) and Kelsi Koenigsfeld (25:36). Top finishers overall in the Men’s Division include Torey Stallsmith (18:06), Isaak Jensen (20:07) and Ben Miller (21:38). Top finishers in each age category were as follows:
Women 14 and Under: Madison Lensing (25:11), Alex Wohlers (28:41), Hailey Kowalski (30:53)
